The Full Day Shark charter is the most complete land-based shark fishing trip we offer — 12 hours on the beach, from first light into the dark, fishing the tide changes and the night bite that brings the biggest sharks close to shore.
Twelve hours lets us work multiple tide swings, move beaches if the bite shifts, and stay on the water through the window when large sharks move into the surf to feed. This is the trip for anglers who want a real shot at a trophy-class fish rather than a quick hookup.
We target the bigger sharks that travel the Gulf Coast surf — blacktips, spinners, lemons, and the occasional tiger that pushes through the troughs off Pensacola Beach and the barrier islands to the east and west. Heavy gear, fresh bait, and patience are the whole day.
This trip is built for experienced anglers and serious first-timers who are ready for a long, focused day. It is not a quick family outing. You should be prepared to stand, walk the beach, and work a rod for hours at a time. Capt. Arinton handles rigging, bait, and beach selection, and coaches you through the fight when a big fish is on.
All gear is provided — heavy rods, reels, wire leaders, circle hooks, and plenty of bait. You bring sunscreen, food, drinks, a cooler, and layers for the temperature swing from morning to night. No experience is required, but stamina helps on a 12-hour day.
We follow current FWC shore-based shark fishing rules on every trip. Circle hooks only, no dragging sharks onto the beach, and every shark is released alive at the waterline.
