Five hours dedicated to hunting sharks from the Pensacola beach.
The 5-Hour Shark Trip is for anglers who want to make sharks the whole point of the day. Five hours on the sand, rigged for sharks, fishing the gutters and troughs where they hunt along the Gulf Coast beaches.
We target blacktips, spinners, lemons, and other sharks that patrol the surf in the Pensacola area. Capt. Arinton picks the beach access based on tide, wind, and recent bite activity, rigs heavy gear with circle hooks, and baits the rods with fresh cut bait. When a shark picks up, you are the one on the rod.
Five hours gives us time to set up properly, let the baits soak, and wait for the right fish to find us. Shark fishing is a patience game — this trip is built around that rhythm rather than rushing to produce a fish in a short window. The extra hour over our intro trip means more time in the water when the bite is on.
This trip suits anglers who specifically want to fight a shark, small groups and solo anglers chasing a personal best, and experienced surf fishermen who want local knowledge of where the sharks are moving along Pensacola Beach and the surrounding coast.
All gear is provided: heavy rods, reels, wire leaders, circle hooks, and bait. You bring sunscreen, a hat, drinks, and patience. No experience is required, but shark fishing is more physical than our intro trip — be ready to stand and work a rod when the fish is on.
We follow current FWC shore-based shark fishing rules on every trip. Circle hooks only, no dragging sharks onto the beach, and every shark is released alive at the waterline. We are licensed and permitted. No limit on group size; $750 for the group, plus $100 per additional hour. Call or text (850) 530-3971 to book.
